SITE NOTES
What changed and what we checked are separate parts of these notes. Alongside game features, we revisit controls that can be confusing and explain the difference between saved records and starting again.
· Clearer explanations
Explain what stays and what a reset removes
Picture pairs keeps nine course stamps and the selected card back as well as found pictures and the completed-game count. The maze saves fifteen course records and the selected Bunny outfit. We revised the picture-pair and maze storage explanations to match these records and the buttons shown in the games.
Aquarium photos use data that recreates a tank scene, rather than the device camera. We separated the instructions for clearing photos and clearing aquarium progress. For Bug Safari, we clarified that its record reset clears discoveries, observation notes and badges.
For cooking, we explain the cookbook and restarting a dish. For sorting, we describe saving and clearing up to twenty-seven course stamps, decorations and the Guidance setting. The explanations also identify what stays before you clear a record.
Real screens and a next step in three guides
We added actual game screens and steps that explain a display and where to act next.
- Shopping: swap a basket item and read the scanner’s “1 / 2”. Distinguish a wrong item from an item that has not been scanned.
- Observation: feature ticks and a photo count of “1 / 12”. Connect the whole bug with its close-up, and keep photo counts separate from fish counts.
- Picture pairs: hide two cards and read what a reset keeps. Separate hiding a pair, restarting a layout, and clearing collections or course stamps.
These notes describe implemented features and checks for which records exist. They are not a list of features planned for a future release.
· Mazes
An adventure that continues after the carrot
Bunny’s Carrot Maze keeps its three worlds and five levels, with clearer destinations for the next part of the journey.
- If you still need the key, the hint leads there first. Open the bridge before heading towards the carrot or your chosen acorn.
- After reaching the carrot, you can look for remaining acorns. The game can target a nearby one, or you can choose one yourself.
- Larger mazes have a little map, zoom and whole-maze views. After taking a break, use a resume button to return.
- The journal has fifteen courses: three worlds and five levels. Completing three or six different courses unlocks outfits. Collecting all acorns is not an outfit requirement.
In a desktop browser, we completed the Japanese woodland course and looked for acorns using the visible hint and direction buttons. The English brook course was checked for the key, bridge, little map, pause and resume. At a 375px display width, we checked the English layout for horizontal overflow, direction controls and the pause screen.
· Picture pairs
Let a found picture lead to another activity
Little Picture Pairs offers three themes with 6, 8 or 12 cards. Alongside finding every pair, you can look closer at collected pictures and choose a different course.
- Each of the nine courses keeps one stamp. Replaying the same course does not add a duplicate.
- More card backs become available at three, six and nine stamps.
- Press a collected picture to open a larger observation view.
- The collection reset is separate from resetting journeys and card backs. A reset whose save fails does not first remove the previous records or board.
In a desktop browser, we checked the woodland, ocean and shop themes in Japanese and English, including studying a missed pair until ready. Three course stamps and a selected card back stayed after reloading. We also checked keyboard controls when closing the observation view, and twelve-card layouts at a 375px display width.
· Family guides
Concrete game examples for shared play
We organised the ten family play guides and added game settings, worked examples and controls. The cooking guide follows choosing ingredients, chopping, mixing, decorating and serving. Music guides explain starting sound and what a recording stores. Articles such as cooking also include actual game screens.
Browser checks covered bilingual articles and links, completing a dish, playing and responding to a rhythm example, and Sorting Playground rejecting a wrong basket before all six toys were sorted. These are examples of checking what happens on screen, as well as reading the instructions.

What these checks cover, and how to report a problem
The examples here cover desktop-browser controls and displays checked by the operator, plus automated checks of saved records and other behaviour. A 375px check changes the browser’s display width; it does not mean every physical smartphone was tested. These are not records of research with children or measurements of learning outcomes.
Some music checks included the browser’s output response. Your device volume, speaker and mute settings are separate. Visit Help with sound, controls and saving when you need a hand. If a problem remains, use Contact and include the game, device or browser and your last action. A child’s name or photo is not needed.
Dates use the UTC date of the check or publication record. We use AI assistance in production and compare explanations with the games when updating. Future notes will describe changes we have been able to check.
